Google Calculator
An interface to the Google Calculator, which accepts both mathematical ("sin(0.5pi)") and natural-language ("half a cup in teaspoons") queries. Even crazy things like "the speed of light in cubits per fortnight" work.
The Widget features a history of previous calculations, a basic syntax checker, and a nifty animation for invalid queries.

Lady KEvery thing I type, comes back invalid. I ask questions, use punctuation, no punctuation, as simpler things, like how many kilowatts in a watt and it is always invalid. Am I doing something wrong?

J.J. VThank you so much for this! It's like a word-calculator. Google is awesome and now it's in my desktop. I wonder if it works offline (w/o internet). It's still awesome!

vpI wish the annoying tool tip could be removed!! It drives me crazy, provides no useful purpose once you know how to use the widget, and hides the information for which I'm using the widget in the first place..

Great widget!
vpI have been using this widget for a long time, and I use it all the time. My only complaint is the lack of a keyboard shortcut to clear the result (not the editable field).
