Google Calculator

by Christopher Bia

An interface to the Google Calculator, which accepts both mathematical ("sin(0.5pi)") and natural-language ("half a cup in teaspoons") queries. Even crazy things like "the speed of light in cubits per fortnight" work.

The Widget features a history of previous calculations, a basic syntax checker, and a nifty animation for invalid queries.

The widget doesn't work for me, I keep getting "Invalid expression!" no matter what I type in. Yes even simple things like "1+2" generate this error message. Cool idea, if only it worked!

This was a very good Widget during the use I got out of it, but now I have some problems.
The main problem is that I keep getting an "invalid expression" error no matter what I type in - like "1 gram * c^2", "sin(1)", and "1*2".
The second problem is that the text I type in is no longer aligned properly in the box. It now appears partly hidden by the bottom bezel.
This next is more of a feature request than a bug report, but could you allow the user to res More

Is it possible for the author to update with a fix? that way us novice users won't have to use widget converters and fix the problems ourselves...
    thank you so much.

I can see the need for the main.js change but after applying it it still continues to say invalid expression for anything typed in, and, after closing the widget and reopening, it seems to re-download the js file and wipe out the change. The main.js files I can find on the system are in C:\Documents and Settings\CSAaronk\Local Settings\Application Data\Yahoo\Widget Engine\Main\Google Calculator.widget\Google Calculator.widget\Contents and C:\Documents and Settings\CSAaronk\Local Settings\Applic More
