I like the look and the chimes are nice but if I could cut the ticking off completely without cutting off the chimes, I'd like it. The ticking is just too loud.

Hi everybody. Gary, I love your work. But I noticed that version 1.3.1 doesn't seem to STOP playing chimes at the time I specify. Version 1.2 does it correctly, so I downgraded. Has anyone else noticed that? I'm on a Mac running Leopard.

Has anyone had a problem with the sound on this widget? The ticks and chimes sounds garbled, however its just on my desktop, my laptop works perfectily.

I just added the Grandfather Clock to my list of Widgets and love it! At first I wasn't sure if I would like it, but after installing it and hearing the tick-tick and the chimes...WOW! It makes my PC space feel so homey and comfy...like being at Gram's house! I changed the clock frame color to the Light Oak and I like the fact that it can be customized like that. Really attractive.
So far it works great and time (haha) will tell.

I've been using this for about a year, and just came back to install it on my new laptop (upgraded version, too). It really helps me keep track of time with just a glance and with little 30-minute chime reminders as to how long I've been at my desk. So I wanted to thank the man behind this little gem. * * * * *
