Starting with Version 1.3 and on there is no more helper widget in Grandfather Clock. All of the functionality is there, but without the helper Widget.

I used this widget several years ago but finally gave up on it because of the helper error. Now, years later, on a new computer with a brand new install of Widgets and this clock, I still see the same error. Please, fortheloveofgod someone fix that annoying error.
You fix this error and I'll give it 5 stars in a heartbeat. The error, alone, is annoying enough to kill the rating.

it sounds great. i leave my computer on and the chime can be heard all over the house. I love that . it shound just like a Grandfather clock.
the problem i am having is it will just disappear off my computer. I hit the button to return in and it does not work. so i have to delete the GF clock and re apply it to get it back up. this happens about twice a week. very annoying .

realey like this widget the olney thing like is it should have had the whole clock not just the face. so i tuck it away out of site and use the sounds to go with gaget clock insted Works for me Great soundefects!!!!!

I am sorry that you are having those problems. If you would like me to send you a version of the widget without the helper then please email me. I'm not trying to pass the blame or discount your claims, but I have never heard of a situation like the one you mentioned.
