I had to use the F8 key to see them and have their preferences set so that I can see them everytime

Hello,
I'm using a PC on XP and I can't see the widget.
When I open it, there is just a 2seconds lag and a kind of error message with a red cross shows and disapear quickly.
I downloaded the widget via the PC download link.
Have an idea ?
