Hmm - nice, and cool, AND awful..?
OK - Instructions on how to read the time.
The three sliders represent hours, minutes, and seconds (from the top down)
The numbers and/or dots passing through the grey portion represent 'current' time
On the hours slider, each hour is divided by the half-hour (longer bar) and quarter-hour (shorter bars).
The Minute and Second sliders are in 5 unit major increments (e.g. 5 minutes or 5 seconds) indicated by the numbers, and the units inbetween are repres…ented by dots, just like the tickmarks on a clockface.
I tried it with one long string of numbers so that every number from 0 to 59 was represented, but it looked ghastly. And anyway - I didn't want it to be just another digital clock.

But I cannot read the time. The dots are confusing..
