Houston TranStar Traffic

Houston Transtar Traffic is a Yahoo! Widget which allows you to view traffic cameras and the main Real-Time Traffic map and its submaps.

New for version 2.2: many new traffic cameras for specific freeways added and now selected streets and intersections around town.

An update has been submitted for review. Please check back here in a few days to download version 2.2.

Version 2.2 includes fixes to allow loading of images from the Transtar website. Many new camera sites have been added to existing freeways and now, some streets and intersection cameras are also accessible.

A workaround: Use the WebImages (or similar image viewer) widget to spawn a new window and add images using the format: http://www.houstontranstar.org/snapshots/cctv/xxx.jpg where xxx is the number of the camera image you want. You may have to visit the houstontranstar cams site and use "Copy Image Location" in your browser to find out the three-digit numbers of the desired cameras. Make an image for each cam you want and set WebImages to cycle through them at the desired frequency. This will get you by until the update comes out.

Looks like Houston Transtar has updated their links breaking the widget so an update will be available soon.

"Camera Image Currently Unavailable" on all cams. Used to work fine. Can see cams through the Houston Transtar site. Did the cam addresses change and break the widget?
