Click "Play" to hear your computer speak the entered text. You can save typed text to function keys and play up to 12 saved messages at random intervals. Remember to adjust the frequency in Preferences.
rjs, Sorry. I don't know. You unzipped it and I assume you have downloaded the Yahoo widget engine. It should run. I will make sure that no one will have to unzip the next version and maybe that will eliminate these issues.

I' having the same problem as James. I downloaded the Humbledove_v1.1.zip then extracted the Humbledove.widget. I then launch the Humbledove.widget and get the "StartWidgetProcess: Unable to open .widget as .zip" error. Any other ideas?

WellMiffed, Try opening up your audio. There should be an icon around your clock in the bottom right corner. Sometimes certain types of volume are at different settings. This happened to me once. I hope this helps.

Interestingly enough, when I run this widget I hear absolutely pure silence. My sound is working fine, yet for some bizzare reason, I hear nothing from this.

This is an awesome widget. I think that maybe some interesting voices for this would be opera voices and Star Wars voices. I personally am not a widget creator so I cannot help. Anyways, awesome widget.
