June 29, 2006 · version 1.1 Brendan BellinaYes, Radar Widget uses the Weather Channel for its source and so has a wider range. My approach relies upon local TV stations whenever I can find them and provides links to those local stations. I hadn't looked at Radar Widget so I can certainly say that its features have had no influence whatsoever on the features of my widgets. Fortunately there is plenty of room in the Widget space for multiple solutions and people are certainly free to use whatever they like.
