imageLocator

A generic image viewer can display any image on the net.

You can...
- Parse the web site and pick up the target image's URL if it's not static.
- Have unlimited configurations. (12 presets available)
- Update an image or slide-show all configurations at the specified interval.

Perfect! This is exactly the type of widget I was hoping someone would create!

I've found it's capable of displaying more information than I imagined, thus there are lots of fields in preferences that don't have to be filled in. I "control click" an image of a web cam which lets me open just the image in another window... then I copy that URL and paste into preferences.

Most images display... but the following images don't work (one is my favorite radar view):

This is programed to slide-show 12 pictures on the first launch. If it don't start, you may have some problem in your internet connection. If you are behind a firewall, I can't help you right now. Sorry.

This is a nice idea. I can not however get it to work. I live in the USA, and don't understand the preferences, for each image. There is URL 1 & 2 what goes here? What is image title, do we "make something up"? What is Parse Target URL? I am not a programer.

No support for proxies. hangs when loading images.
