ImageView

ImageView is a simple image viewer. An image dragged onto the Widget's window is displayed. ImageView can spawn copies of itself, so that several images can be viewed at the same time. When ImageView is restarted, it can restart the spawned Widgets, so that they can display their respective images. Each copy (spawn) of ImageView can also provide a slide-show using images from nominated folders.

orb9220: On my Macintosh 933MHz iBook G4, I'm seeing a 5 second startup time on YWE 3.1.4x104 with ImageView 1.7.2. If you have the slide-show set and a large image folder, the startup time will be (much) longer depending on the size and depth of your image folder. There is no obvious difference in the coding of versions 167 and 172, in this area.

I will add an option to hide the buttons on startup, but that will be in version 173.

Been using and is a Great widget Buttttt! I went from 1.67 which loads in 6-8 secs to 1.72 which pegs my cpu for 40 secs to load went back to 167.

Using Konfab 3.11 b96 on a windows xp system. If anyone knows why it would be greatly appreciated.

The ony other annoyance is it starts up with the buttons on and I have ot manually click frame then click off to turn them off. Anyway to have it start up with the control buttons off by defualt?

Keep up the good work and it is appreciated.

Lewald: YWE 3.1.2x100 is the latest (ie current) version of the Widget Engine, available from http://widgets.yahoo.com/.

Thanks, but I'm not computer saavy. I have no idea what YWE3.1.2x100 is.
