ImageView

ImageView is a simple image viewer. An image dragged onto the Widget's window is displayed. ImageView can spawn copies of itself, so that several images can be viewed at the same time. When ImageView is restarted, it can restart the spawned Widgets, so that they can display their respective images. Each copy (spawn) of ImageView can also provide a slide-show using images from nominated folders.

November 16, 2007 · version 2.2 rogerfsmith34761What does "fix for spawning problems" entail? I still see the same behavior I asked about on May 21 post. Interestingly, if I right click on widget to get version number it says "2.0.5" but on the spawn it says "2.0.4". Is this a problem? Thank you.

November 16, 2007 · version 2.2 Merlinrogerfsmith34761: Yahoo! Widgets 4 introduced a change in the way preferences are handled on Windows. This causes the Widget to behave as you describe. The change in behavior was an unintended side-effect of changes made to implement the dock. We are still considering how best to restore the old behavior. The Widget still behaves as intended on the Macintosh.

November 16, 2007 · version 2.2 rogerfsmith34761Will future versions have parent and spawned widgets keep their individual settings after restart? Currently all instances, spawns and parent, keep the settings of the last instance modified upon restart.
