Todd Lininger Design@giginyc0620: This widget uses system sounds by default to alert you when it has updated. Unfortunately with Yahoo's new security methods the only way to access those sounds is to grant the widget full access. I understand your concern, and I assure you that this is the only way the widget uses any files on your computer. We will look into the possibility of packaging a sound file in the widget itself in order to avoid this issue in the next release.
Again, I assure you the widget is completely safe to use. Yahoo! has verified and approved it.
