Displays a simple piece of information from a specified URL at a specified interval. The idea is that you create a web page yourself which feeds this Widget with information, and when the URL is called, whatever the URL returns is displayed in a slide-out information bar.

You could use this for displaying how many hits you've had on your website, the status of a server, the number of records in a database, notification of new posts on a forum, or pretty much anything, really, since you crea…te the URL it reads using a server-side scripting language (PHP, Perl, ASP etc.). You can set the information bar to become a link to another URL which you specify, and you can change the size, colors and length of time the information bar is displayed. Since the information bar will only slide out if the URL doesn't return an empty string, you can use it to notify you only when a particular piece of information changes.
