Info101

by Martin Cannings

A great way to keep track of all your vital system information. You can look at the mini meters in the main window, or by opening both panels, see extended information about 6 main areas...

CPU Usage
Battery Usage
Hard Drive Usage
Memory Usage
Wireless Connection
Volume Control

As if all that wasn't enough, you can keep track of your current weather conditions by revealing the weather pane in the main window.

Only thing it's missing is CPU temperature (could take that from SpeedFan if it's installed) and it would be The Perfect Widget.

Non of the features works on my comp and I have a brand new top of the line machine. Only the weather display works. Another thing is that the location for the weather is not very accurate. It accepts City and Country. I live in Ontario, Canada and when I put in my city, province and country, it says it can't find that location. Same thing in the other weather widget I have. So I'm not sure if I have the correct location. I'm not sure if there is more than one city with the same name as mine in the country. Needs to be more location specific.

Very nice. This widget works perfect for the heads up display and I love the layout. Keep up the good work!:-)

Great widget, like others said this widget kept repeatedly accessing my drives so I had to modify it. Since all I really care about is the memory meter and processor usage, I converted the widget to a folder structure and then went into the .kon file.

Locate the two instances of the updateHDD() function call and delete them. Then convert the folder back into a widget and wallah! No more problem.

Really has potential, but main improvement points would be, as many said, the constant drive polling, and in my opinion, the ability to customize what monitors to show. I use a desktop; wifi and batteries are useless to me. Otherwise, I join all the praise. Thanks.
