InfoLabel

by Andrew

This Widget is a customizable label that provides information on your system and the current time based on a user provided string. Uses a %Tags% based format to fetch the information: battery, time, volumes, trash, airport; everything is listed.

Note: create a copy of the file and rename to spawn multiple copies.

To see the list of tags available, right click the Widget and select "Tags Guide".

Matt Brown, I am aware of the problem and it seems to appear only on localised versions of Windows XP... I've been unsucessful in reproducing the bug on my 3 test computers (I'm able to set more then 100 lines if I wish).

Geamy, the problem has been fixed in 1.4.1, and should be submited too. Small coding mistake, it should of displayed "Not Available" but didn't because of a little typo.

Netstat monitoring will not be added in the next version because of the way the data More

Hey, excellent widget. New to this whole knofabulator program, and just wanted a widget that did it all. Are you going to update this anytime soon? Would love to see more new features such as network usage or itunes 'now playing' etc. Thanks for such a great widget, Aravinth (aravinth.t@gmail.com)

I really love this widget. Great job!

I've come across a problem, though: if I tell it to display my IP, the widget disappears if I wasn't connected when it loaded (I'm on WinXP Home SP2, with InfoLabel set to update IP only once). It's still there, I just can't see it! After connecting I have to open up the settings window to get it back.

I used miniIP before, and it displays a message if it can't find your IP. Something similar for InfoLabel would be great for us who aren't connected to the internet 24/7. ;)

    I need more lines!

I have four HDDs, and I want to watch my RAM and CPU.
I tried to put a pipe in between two of the HDDs and the RAM and CPU, but it looks like doodoo.

The current limit seems to be four. Allow us to set the # of lines, or allow "infinite."

    That would be awesome.

Otherwise, thanks for the excellent widget; still giving it four stars.

Ever thought of adding netstat monitoring? AKA up and down bandwidth?

I love the widget and have it up all the time.
