InfoLabel

This Widget is a customizable label that provides information on your system and the current time based on a user provided string. Uses a %Tags% based format to fetch the information: battery, time, volumes, trash, airport; everything is listed.

Note: create a copy of the file and rename to spawn multiple copies.

To see the list of tags available, right click the Widget and select "Tags Guide".

Mr. G - You can open the .kon file (in this case "InfoLabel.kon") with a simple notepad program (not to be confused with Yahoo's Notepad). The program you'd use to edit html or xml using the "Open With..." function on Windows. There's a passage to look for:

copyright="Copyright © 2005-2006. All rights reserved."

Change this to:

copyright="Copyright 2005-2006. All rights reserved."

This got it up and running for me.

Check the guide on how to assemble & disassemble a widget. Remove the © in the xml-file, located at the top. This fixed it for me, until Yahoo fixes the latest release of the widget engine.

Help! I upgraded YWE to ver. 3.1, and now InfoLabel doesnt work. It's error message says; "Unable to load 'InfoLabel'. It's main XML file was either not found ot unreadable."
