I love it! It's simple, and exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted to post a regular expression to add stars in one step:

s/([^\n]{40,50}) /$1*/g

Or, if you have a find and replace feature that uses regular expressions (such as in dreamweaver) search for "([^\n]{40,50}) " and replace with "$1*" (remove the quotes - and note there is a space at the end of the search string)

And here's one to remove extra blank lines:

s/\s*\n\s*/\n/g

Or search for "\s*\…n\s*" and replace with "\n"

Maybe you could add this to the program or just add a linewrap feature and make is skip blank quotes :) More

What a great widget! The manual line breaks may be awkward, but the end result is perfect.

I have a quick question: is it possible to clone this widget so that there are two copies on the desktop looking at two different files? I think It would be great to be able to dictate the file name and location that Inspiration references (or maybe I just missed this function).

For me, that would allow the widget to become a bit more multi-functional, with one copy for quotations and another for notes o…r a to-do list. I know that wasn't your original intention for this widget, but I love being able to have text without borders or background against my wallpaper and I haven't come across that feature in any other widget.
