The Widget that aspires to inspire! Inspiration reads inspirational (or otherwise) quotes from a file and displays them on your desktop in a highly-configurable manner. The included set of quotes (10) are in the public domain. However, you are encouraged to add to or replace them with those quotes that move you. Could naturally be used for the display of other text.

This is my favorite widget. I'll be one of those who would be happy when new version is released so that I don't need to put * in each quotation. I have another question. Some quotations are displayed more than others, actually it looks like the widget is cycling thru certain quotations only. Is there a random seed problem or my inspiration.txt is not formatted right?

great job! i was searching for such a fortune widget for years! only the manual line break action got me crazy... not an easy job with 3929 german/english quotes. ;)

Robert, works fine for me with the latest versions of Y1WE on both Mac and PC... Linus, check the contextual menu :)

I loved that widget very much, until I downloaded and installed the new Yahoo-widget engine which caused inspiration to cease it's functions completely. Since that moment it would not show up at all.
