Swatch introduced the world to the beat in 1998. They also rejected GMT in favor of BMT (Biel Mean Time). Biel, Switzerland being the location of Swatch headquarters. This Widget displays the current beat.

Mythological BeastThis widget seems to display a correct Swatch Beat time that matches that of the web site. It provides accuracy adjustable between single, tenths, and hundreds of beats. Unfortunately, regardless of the accuracy, it only updates once per normal second, which makes the hundredths mildly misleading. Also, the clock features a red @ sign that flashes once per second (again, not once per centibeat) which I found to be very distracting and annoying.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.1 Juanita Cdoes not show real Swatch time. I have a beat watch and it shows the same time as on Swatch website. ?
