IP Switcher

This Widget gives you a quick way to switch between 3 preset static IP configurations and DHCP. It is useful for laptops that move frequently between a few locations with static addresses, or for network engineers that frequently move a machine between interfaces on a router or firewall.
You must use the preferences to set up the IP settings you want to use including the name of the adapter (in the global settings). There is no error checking on the input fields, so be careful.

LevinFirstly, this is not for external IP as some people might think. This is internal IP, i.e. the IP your router sees your com as and not how the world sees your com as.
If you understand port forwarding, etc, use static internal (network) IPs, a laptop, and move around between just 2 or 3 places alot, then this is an excellent widget which allows you to change all your IPv4 settings in one press of a button to preset settings!

Did not work.
TimMaybe this is supposed to do something different then what I am uderstanding but I wanted to use this widget for my usage while watching movies on Megavideo. They only allow you apx. 70 min. and then you have to wait like 55 minuets until you can start watching again. I was told to get around that, was to change your ip address. I used this widget and it didn't do anything. I even checked out my actuall IP information while I used this widget and nothing changed. I'd have to say this thing is a waste of time.

I do this a lot, and it's a handy widget...but
Matt RasmussenWorks fine on static addressing, but for some reason DHCP never works for me, I always connect with limited connectivity (any ideas would be appreciated)
I would also like to see multiple adaptor access, or mulitple instances of the widget open at one time for the different adaptors.
Thanks for the widget, it's cool.
