iPod Video Converter
Using VLC (http://videolan.org) seems to be the fastest and best way to convert video files to an iPod Video-compatible format.
The only thing this Widget does is call VLC with right parameters to convert your video file. After entering the paths to VLC and the output folder in the preferences, just drop any video file on the Widget and conversion is started. That's it!
Of course, VLC has to be installed to make the Widget work. ;-)

November 15, 2007 · version 1.0I tried using this widget but it doesn't seem to work.
I installed VLC and located it's path and the output folder's path, but when I dropped the movie and VLC opened, the play/pause button flashed a couple times and the player closed automatically. When I checked the output folder, nothing was there. Please help.

November 15, 2007 · version 1.0 MartinMIt now seems that whenever I convert an .FLV file, there's an odd greenish haze that appears for a few seconds at the start... could you fix this? Still a great thing other than that.
