iTunes Companion is a highly customizable, highly functional iTunes remote which searches for album cover art for your current iTunes track at amazon.com and downloads it to your hard drive. The next time you play that track, it finds the image on your hard drive. It searches for artwork in your iTunes Library before going to amazon.com. You can also choose to save the art to iTunes.

I use this widget instead of interacting with itunes. Its a must have for itunes users and is worth checking out because it really integrates well with someone who listens to mysic at their desk and does a lot of work.
Also useful for getting album art although sometimes the art is in a low resolution, but if you really want something to get your album art check out tuneUp companion which i think is awesome and kind of similar to this exepct you have to pay...

NotwdudeI LOVE THIS WIDGET! It makes it so much easier than when iTunes tries to find it, because it sometimes doesn't work, but this does! And you dont have to do anything. Simply amazing! Keep up the awesome job!

Ian BaranekI really wish there was a way to make the design more compact, and I was struggling to find a way to simply disable the album art, but apparently that wasn't a possibility. I really love how the whole library was integrated into the expanded application, but I'd take more customization over that type of accessibility. So, final verdict: great, but not for me.
