hey m, you could tweak it yourself

After change widget it to .zip file and unzip it.
Look into iTunes Timer.kon with a text editor, look for the section:
function alrtdisp()
{
if(theTimer == 1)
{

delete all itunes.volume = "..", just leave only
itunes.pause();
zip the folder again and change it back to .widget

I would not recomend this widget at all.
This widget does not work. It is the worst widget I have seen. The first time it started, after it finished downloading, it was set for 1 minute. It did not work. The second time, it opened the Itunes player but it did not let you put in the time to stop and it did not open up to set the time.

Works well in concert with the new iTunes alarm widget. Very nice combination...but would be even nicer combined as one! :)

You can use FoxyTunes extension for Firefox to wake you up in the morning with iTunes as your player of choice (or one of many other very common players). I'd like to see this widget offer a wake-up via iTunes function as well! Would also like to see the widget be resizable/ skinnable.

Since the widget pauses iTunes, I see no reason to do anything with the volume-- could you at least make that optional? Going to full volume is certainly something I would never do, even manually. I don't get it. Otherwise, very unobtrusive and useful.
