Japan Railway Station Melodies

Forget phone ringtones. Japan Railway (JR) stations play different amusing melodies, to give passengers warning for when the train doors are about to close. This Widget will play some of these cute synthesized jingles from stops around Japan. Now use it to condition the behavior of your co-workers, so they know when you are about to kick them out of your office.

Love it! An idea for future updates: Perhaps integrate a clock feature into it. Just like how grandfather clocks chime every hour, perhaps incorporate a feature that users can set the widget to chime at a specified interval -- like every hour.

Also, where can we find more of these nice melodies?

This is great! One of the few out of the hundreds of widgets I've downloaded thus far that I am actually keeping on my harddrive ^_^

to make it work, just double click on the widget (except near the no symbol which opens the prefs)

My JR Railway sound library is 214.6 MB. Even selecting one jingle per station makes an overwhelmingly large widget. And I dare to link the widget to stream from a web server. So I am not sure if or when and expanded "full flavored" widget will be offered. But thanks to all for your continued interest.
