WidgetWorldHi Timothy, not sure exactly what is going on with your notes, but the more information we can get from you, the better chance we can help. Go to www.WidgetWorld.com and share as much information as possible including OS, how you create them the notes (since if they are disappearing, it should be impossible to create a new one), etc.
Also, please try and set your preferences to stickies always editable and check to see what is happening with the "fade" preferences as well. Perhaps you have fading on and it is fading to nearly 0.

Timothy TMy notes disappear everytime I finish editing them. Any ideas how to solve this?

mememeGreat stuff, my sticky is pretty now=D I write alot so I'm making my writing area wonderful including my cpu. This notepad is great. Will it work offline though?

WidgetWorldHi everyone, thanks for the feedback. At this time, the widget is simple a nice looking notepad and does not have any official "tasks" or "todo" features. It cannot but checkmarks next to things you have finished or cross them out. You have to move them down manually or otherwise manage it yourself. There are other todo widgets available so feel free to do a search and you'll see a few different options.
