Jenerator
Are you learning Japanese? Then this Widget is for you. The Jenerator displays one entry at a time from the EDICT dictionary, helping you to memorise all these Kanji step by step.
Included is a small selection of Jim Breen's EDICT file, suitable for beginners. You can use your own dictionary file as well, should work fine with Chinese, Korean or almost any other language. Instructions are included in the widget.

March 14, 2006 · version 1.1 EdmundIf you download the full EDICT from Jim Breen's page how is it configured? I extract it tot a folder and set in Jenerator where the edict file is, but there's a formatting issue. Even after I change the extension to .txt. I get odd characters like, tilde "N" and the omega symbol. Sometimes no text shows up at all.
