Heya this is an awesome game and exactly the one I was looking for when I saw something similar on a friend's PDA.

One small thing, the Dock icon tooltip calls this widget Pipes! instead of Jumbalaya.

Well done! Very easy to operate and fun to look at. I haven't played enough to comment on whether or not there are enough words in the word list, but I hope that there are.

There is one feature from Text Twist that this game could use: The ability to replay the letters that were just played. I use this all the time to improve my speed -- for example, I'll make AGE, then shoot the letters back so that I can add a D to make AGED.

Another suggestion: Better visual feedback when you atte…mpt an unrecognized word, or a word already played. Perhaps the message area could change color briefly. More

I like the widget, but you need to get with some normal sort of dictionary. Some legit words aren't allowed and some complete nonsense words or alternate spellings are allowed. In the end, it's too frustrating for me to keep playing, because of the shortcomings of the dictionary.

great game, two suggestions
1) add a way for a user to right click on a word (after the game has end) and see the definition (go to an online dictionary site) - if you want I can provide you with the code for it, or you can look at learnEnglish widget
2) remember the score for each game / user ...

(Although I must say, being an avid Scrabble player, that there are a few Scrabble words that don't fly. But still great fun!)
