This is an excellent product. The translator is a blue blooded British scholar. Will it be possible to include the original Arabic text side by side with the English translation?

The Hijri date must have an adjustment option for setting the date 1 and 2 days either ahead or behind the default date shown. This is necessary because actual Hijri dates are not the same as the computed lunar dates.

Though I liked to see this widget, but the very important thing to be noted is that we cannot set the country in it. One must know that the lunar date differ from country to country. As When It is Eid's second day in KSA then it is Eid's First day in Pakistan. So, an important addition in it must be the country settings.

This Widget fails whenever the computer wakes from sleep. It also uses a one second timer to change the date, which is an unnecessary waste of cpu cycles. It is possible to change the date exactly at midnight with only two timer ticks a day. Contact me by private message via the Konfabulator Forums, if you would like advice.
