Only two things that could make this better. The first would be the option of entering your own character for the background (not sure of the feasability of this) and the second would be to have the ability to change the color of the character.

This gorgeous and functional. I hope the update for changing the colors and more Kanji options comes soon.

Matthew, if you want to modify the widget for your own personal use, that's fine. Just don't patch it and redistribute it. If there are other kanji you would like to have added to the next version, please list them here. I have tried to program a new version that allows the user to change colors, but have not been happy with the results.

The fire symbol does not have a stroke in the middle, but it is an important symbol to me and I still think that it looks good. The symbol that I made is definately not to the same quality as the ones you made, but when it is small it looks good...
