A flashcard Widget. Supports classic (old) flashcard files and XML flashKard files. Question timer, color, themes and more are available. Enjoy and contribute with translations/flashcards/themes/code!
One more thing I've come to think of that would be a handy addition would be a randomizer for the questions to really make you think. A little more tricky, would be putting in bookmarks to cycle through certain sections. For example, being able to bookmark question #30 to easily jump back to it and cycle from there. Even a jumpback button to the first question would be a handy feature.

Fout things I would like to see. 1) Better documentation on how make your own flashcards--a program is useless if no one can figure out how to use it or the learning curve is too steep; 2) A resizeable window; 3) more color/skin options; and 4) To keep track of the flashcards I add to it without having to keep dragging the same file (could be done with a folder and/or would need a remove button). Nonetheless, the best flashcard widget yet!

The filecards may be simple text files with question answer lines (2 lines per q&a) but also XML files (see on http://edu.kde.org/contrib/kvtml.php some samples).
To drag a flashcard just move the file over the widget. You should see that the green + changes color. That is the drop zone (in an earlier version it actually had the text Drop Zone :) ).

Would you please post some instructions on how to make your own cards? It says to put old flascard files in the drop zone. WHAT IS THE DROP ZONE?

How do you use this thing? Also, the arrow buttons are too picky. You have to click exactly on the arrow or else it won't register.
