Thank you guys for your feedback and support. I've just added version 1.2 to the gallery for approval. I think that I covered the most of your problems and request in ver 1.2.
Mike: I can't reproduce your "Update interval" bug, I hope that you can try the new version to see if you still have the same problem.
Again, thank you for your feedback. Please give me your honest opinion on ver 1.2 when it's availible.

Very handy widget. I use it for monitoring the Squid proxy log directly from a share on our server.
Couple of bugs/suggestions:
The update interval seems to change at random, most noticeably after a restart it will have reverted to every 3 seconds-ish. Going into the settings and hitting Save fixes it for a while.
The text cuts off a good few characters before the end of the box. Would be nice to have it use all available space.
It would be extremely handy if there could be an option to igno…re the first and/or last x characters from each line. Squid's first 20-30 characters are a completely useless Linux timestamp, whereas the stuff at the end (currently cut off on most lines) is much more useful.

By transparent background, I mean floating text with no background. Changing the opacity doesn't quite do that as it also affects the text. Great to hear you're making updates. Keep up the good work!
