Cute. The animation uses up a little bit more CPU than I'd like, but if you don't mind the slight drain, it's pretty good.
Now as for the legal junk, if you're in the US...
From the United States Code, Title 17, Chp. 5, ยง 504.:
"... the copyright owner may elect ... to recover, instead of actual damages and profits, an award of statutory damages ... in a sum of not less than $750 or more than $30,000 as the court considers just..."
Even if they don't lose anythi…ng and you don't gain anything, they can still sue you. They probably won't, but they still can. It'd be smart to play it safe and get permission. If they don't have a problem with it, they'll give it to you. If they do have a problem with it, you'll find out sooner and get a chance to remove it before things get messy.
