That's odd that it uses so much of your CPU. It's supposed to fill an array with all of the fetched quotes and then just pull from the array with a minimal amount of CPU usage. Could you give me details about the type of computer you're on?

Ok, after using this for a few days, it seems it always has about 15% CPU usage. None of my other widgets do this, and as I am on a laptop and quite sensitive to battery usage, I've disabled it for now.
The CPU usage needs to be fixed...

Great! I was just thinking about trying something like this myself.
Any chance we could get one that would just give random verses from the standard works (as long as Numbers doesn't come up too often... ;-)?

great widget! Thanks for making it! The only thing I would hope is that you could figure out a better way to dynamically resize the box it is in depending on how long the quotes are.
