LED Banner gives you a scrolling LED Banner on your desktop. You can have your own messages, customize the LED and border colors, and resize the length and height of the banner. You can enter a text in the preferences or specify a text file or any number of RSS URLs to be used as the source of the banner text.

Please could you explain how the other person is able to simply modify your widget and post it on the gallery?
I thought they'd done it with your permission

Use double-click to start or stop LED banner's scrolling.

November 09, 2006 · version 1.3 IdBDale (and others who wants to see RSS fedds scrolling in LED): I just submited 2 small widgets that reads RSS News (one for BBC and another for CNN) and save the 10 first headlines and descriptions in a text file. This text file is updated every 15 min. So, if you want the LED to scroll RSS news feed, just open the widget you want (BBC, CNN or both), set your LED preferences to read the text file and set the Time Reload Interval to 15 min.
