November 16, 2007 · version 1.21 Nick_KoufouOk folks, I tracked the problem down to slow string comparisons. For some reason the latest widget engine is extremely slow at comparing a variable against a string.
I am waiting to see what the engine gurus have to say about this.
I am also in the process of modifying the widget so that I can eliminate those statements entirely, Will keep you posted when the new version is up.

I have no idea if this problem shows up on the Mac as I recently moved from UK to Canada and my Mac is still in it's box. Mac users should be able to use the windows version, the only difference is the widget icon.
Note to colinkeenan: I hope I get my 5 stars now!!!!

This is eating up most of my time so widget development is on hold at the moment.
