great game that screws up my entire day! :)
One problem - starting a new game often starts a game with exactly the same letters and positions as the previous game...
    what could be wrong?

LexiPuzz uses an extensive dictionary that includes American and English spellings (as an example "color" and "colour" are supported). Just out of interest could you please provide examples of words not present in the dictionary? I could always consider a feature for adding words.
An end/close button will be added to the next release. This will take you back to the main screen so that a game can be restarted.

I am getting increasingly exasperated at the proliferation of words that it fails to accept.
The words that have the greatest omission rate are those of Latin origin that are still used in modern English vernacular. On occasion I have also fallen foul of the bastardised spelling of English preferred by Americans; agreed English is a lingua franca.
The conceptualisation of the idea that led to the widget is most commendable and its execution is admirably conveyed in its' final form.
A reset button is needed, to take the game to the initial start, whilst mid game.

Thanks, Nick for the point to SOWPODS. And the widget is a blast.

LexiPuzz uses YAWL which is a superset of SOWPODS (a combination of English and American Scrabble word lists). "Texan" if i am not mistaken is not a valid word in Scrabble and that would explain why it is not included.
