Thanks for your feedback MarkyT, I'm glad you're enjoying Lexipuzz. I did some work on the repeats issue to stop the same layout appear on a restart but haven't actually increased the number of unique starting positions (there is a limit of 1000). I could always consider increasing this in the next release if that helps.

There is a very easy way though to force a certain layout and I have encountered players in the past who have done so. Unfortunately there is very little I can do about this as anyone can tinker with the source code or the widget configuration files.

This is a really, really great widget for those familiar with Scrabble and anyone else who just enjoys a good, challenging word game. Encountering repeats of certain layouts (mentioned elsewhere in the feedback) is startlingly common and if you replay the Hall Of Fame top scores - which is a fantastic feature by the way - you can see that lots stem from identical starting points.

That said, this is still a marvellous, entertaining and addictive widget game that I am spreading the word about. Well done indeed!
