Logger

Logger displays a floating, continuously updating view of multiple log files, either locally or on remote servers.

This gives you a handy window into the health of your scripts, servers, and databases. You can make the log views extremely minimal and compact, or choose to display more extensive information.

The SSH part does not work from my Mac. I think that the passphrase needed to be entered is the problem. I was not able to run & configure ssh-agent to avoid that.
Another question : can I use user@host in the servername field to specify a user ?

great tool...doesn't seem to want to remember my settings though. i had to change the defaults in the script code to avoid resetting each time it opens. other than that...works great.

Note that the "About Logger" screen claims that the version linked is 0.2 dated 20-Feb-2003. The disk image file is named logger-0.3.1 however.

This is exactly the widget I've been looking for, but I am also unable to accomplish the remote server log monitoring as described in the README.
