London Underground Tube Status

Provides real time information about the London Tube Lines.
There are two views for this Widget:
1) The detailed view shows the status of all the London Underground Lines.
2) The compact view only shows the Underground Lines that are having problems.
You can get detailed information about each of the tube lines (including station closures and details about the report problems) through tool tips (by giving the Widget focus and moving your mouse over the individual tube lines).

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.5 WillMerlin - thanks for the help here. I have just submitted a corrected version for approval. And yes, an RSS feed from TFL would really help here.
The guys at Dappit.com (who I use to create the XML files) have aliases on their to do list. This feature will allow me to correct the XML extracts without requiring people to download a new version of the Widget each time TFL changes their website, which will be nice.
Merlin, as payback for all your help with the Mac problems, any features you would like me to add to this widget? Additional Journey Planner ideas?

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.5 MerlinThe problem with the Journey Planner and Safari is fixed. I regret to report that the problem with scrollbars is not. There are three places in the code where you set "editable=false" on textareas. In those three places, you also need to set "scrollbar=false". Note that the command is "scrollbar=false", not scrolling="off", which applies to texts, and not to textareas.
It's a pity that TFL does not have an RSS feed, which would make things a lot simpler.

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.5 WillAll - TFL has changed their site again. A new version of the Widget is on its way to correct for these changes.
Merlin - This version has the 2 changes that you have requested. I hope there are no more MAC issues - but don't hesitate to post any more issues
(now we just have to wait 2 - 3 days before the Widget gods will approve my change)

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.5 MerlinThere is a problem with the Journey Planner calls on the Macintosh. In your openJourneyPlanner(From, To) function, you need to escape() From.toLowerCase() and To.toLowerCase() to make the openURL() function work with Safari. Spaces in postcodes currently cause it to fail silently.
