This is a desktop wallpaper changer with optional image frames.
Shows images from local folders or Flickr
Cycles through randomly or sequentially
Multiple image frames (none, slide, tape, smudge, heavy smudge, or jagged)
Fade transition (optional)
Handles portrait images nicely
Won't overly stretch small images
Uses lanczos filter for highest quality
Saves your favorite Flickr images to your local desktop folder
Can be paused/resumed
Can easily skip to next ima… More

November 15, 2007 · version 2.0Yep -- It takes horsepower to scale images to fit your screen. First you'll see it go up when it changes the desktop. Then, you'll notice a second bump as it calculates the little image for the dock. And as soon as the dock image changes -- it should go back to using no resources at all as it sits and waits for the next image change.

November 15, 2007 · version 2.0 oddin85Nice widget, does what it is supposed to, but takes up a lot of system resources, my cpu usage shot up to around 50%, and after i turned off the widget it went back down to 5%
