Nice widget but I can't seem to bring up the mail.app (which is docked) when I click on the logo.
    Using Tiger OS.

    Thanks

Hi Andrew, just checkin up on this. I use it as well seeing as how i helped to create the widget and till date the only reason that the bezel doesn't show up is if i receive any new email in a folder that is not in the inbox. also, what settings did u put for the delay. if its a short delay, who knows, maybe u looked away when it appeared and it disappeared before u looked back. in any case, you should post this is in the "3rd party mac osx widgets" forum in order to get support.

    thanks

Great idea for a widget, don't know why Apple didn't include something like this or Growl in OS X themselves.

Anyway, I'm running Mail 2.0.2 (732/733) on OS X Tiger 10.4.2 on a 17" PowerBook 1.33 GHz. I installed the widget fine, but it doesn't seem to work that well. By that I mean, the bezel doesn't appear for EVERY message I get, only for a select few-and there seems to be no discernable pattern to it. I have the Window Level set to Topmost More

Malcom/Paul: There is a one line change that can fix that problem. Email me.

Woy/cosmic: The widget justs asks Mail (via applescript) what the messages are. I cannot imagine how Mail would create these side-effects. There are no files harmed in the use of this widget :)

Richard C: Panther is not the issue. I, of course, have nothing to go on to help you, and you are not likely to read this. For others to come: if you want help - post to the forums. You are the one who has seen a problem a More
