you should set your frequency to at least 1 minute. if u put it to "0" i think what happens is that it doesnt check at all. it just sits there cause u specified for it to check every 0minute, which doesnt exist. i think that might be what is happening. plus, if u want it to stay up until u actually dismiss it by clicking it, so u can leave it for a day and come back and it'll be there, set the Delay to "0" thats where the 0 actually works. i have my frequency at 5 and th…e delay at 0 and i havent missed an email yet. not sure why it doesnt work for u. just a suggestion. to make sure that u actually see the bezel when it appears, set it to topmost rather than below. otherwise u may not see it below a bunch of finder windows or other running apps. hope this helps More

or trash it... Keep it simple and slik. No delays no frequency no this and that. Display what is in the inbox, clicking on the bezel brings Mail-app. with the main window from the dock to front and than stays away until the next new mails arrive. This is on click easy, right?
Good idea bad realization but a very pleasant icon interface.

Oh bye the way, while I am typing new mails did arrive and the widget did not recognize them...

Cant imagine why somebody could rate this 4 stars. In this conditions its pretty useless to me.

here are the settings:
Format: Multiple messages per bezel
Click on logo: ... opens new messages
Frequency: 0
Delay 3
Level of Window: Below
Opacity: 100

Downloaded a fresh copy and it works now. But what i dont understand is why is there frequency setting? It should check my inbox all the time and display it immediately! The next thing is the delay setting. I want the Bezel displayed for as long as I click on it, so I can stay away for a day and come back with a notification on the s…creen. And more, when the setting is on ... activates the Mail application, it does that, but I place the Mail window in the dock so it wont cover my widgets and this main window is not brought back to front only the application is! I like and the people I know like to read there Mails in the main window of Apple Mail. So it would be a simple thing to bring the application and the main window upfront and i can decide to open the mail in a new window or to put it directly in a folder or More
