It is not working for me at all. Started it and the introduction window appears, after a snip it disappears and than nothing. No bezel no icon at all. Getting Mails and nothing happens. I have a german system OS 10.3.4. And what now?

Charlie, How can I get in touch with you via e-mail? I have some of the code worked out and would like to share it back with you if you're interested, and have you refine/retouch it. ;-)

Brilliant!
This is excellent! One question... How hard would it be to have it scan mailboxes other than InBox? The sad thing is, I have too many, so would have to have some way to pick a subset of my mailboxes that I'd want it to scan.
I looked at the code, but I don't "do" javascript or AppleScript very much so I'm not sure how to best approach a modification.
Anyway, excellent work!

i would say that all u have to do is go in the prefs for the mail bezel and set the frequency to something like 1 minute or 30 seconds. or even 15 seconds, that way it will react almost instantaneously. if u really want it that fast set it to 1 second (mind u this may or may not make the bezel a resource hog if its querying Mail.app every second)
