Answers to comments:

Matthew: In the prefs for the widget is an option to clear the search after search. You have this turned off. Turn it on, and this will go away.

Additional Search Engines: Adding the search engines would be easy enough, but if you add to many, you end up with a huge widget. Maybe I'll work on a way to add some, and "hide" the extras, or maybe have a custom section or something....

Looks: I wish I had the skill to make it more attractive. I had tons of pr…oblems getting it to look the way it did! I'm using The GIMP 2.2, and all the tutorials on making graphics like this are based on Photoshop, which I don't own, so they aren't much help. I've tried searching for a place to go and get clipart style interface components, but couldn't find them (if you know of one, feel free to drop me an email at widgetgallery at seidenmail dot com). The glow thing might not be too tough--I think I'll give it a try.

Nice, but pressing enter does 2 things; it enters the search and puts a return character in the text, so that when you do the next search, it does the previous search. You actually have to delete the previous search and then type. Also, it would be nice if the default search had a "glow" to it.
