v1.1 has been submitted to the gallery. It corrects a bug that prevented the lights from being displayed properly in Echo, Music Machine, Black Jack 13, Concentratioon, and High Low when using Windows XP. It also adds the feature of keeping track of the minimized state so that when turning on your computer Merlin will stay in his box if that was how you last left him.

Tune #21 through #29 and enter the name of your tune in the appropriate Liner Notes field. Note that the Liner Notes field for a tune is above the tune, not below. Then click OK to close the preferences and your tune is saved.

I've followed this procedure several times and haven't had any problems with playback. Let me know if this helps.

More information on the problems you are having would be helpful. I'm not aware of any bugs. Creating, exporting, and loading a song is a multi-part process though, and perhaps my instructions in the Online Help could be improved.

To play one of Merlin's favorites from New Game you press 2 (MM), 2 (load), and then a 2-digit number 01 through 20. Merlin will beep to indicate the song is loaded into memory, and then you play it by pressing COMP TURN. Loading one of your saved son…gs is the same except you use numbers 21 through 29.

To create your own song and save it for replay from New Game you press 2 (MM), 1 (compose), and then enter your notes. When done entering press COMP TURN for playback or HIT ME to export. After pressing HIT ME open the Widget preferences (I just dbl-click on the word "Merlin"), go to the Music (1) preference pane, and copy the contents of the "Music Machine Exported Tune" into any one of the available Tune #21 thro More
