Meteosat Animator

The first version only displays images for area D2 (Europe and North Africa), you can select the wavelength of the images and colourized or black and white versions. Optionally you can overlay a second image on top of the main image to produce a combined animation.
Version 1.3 adds sector D2 images for Fog/low cloud (night time use only), Dust, Airmass, and multi-sensor precipitation. These can now be overlaid with the original image set.

RODThis widget stopped working for me on Wednesday 25 June. I've checked on both my computers just in case I'd done something on my main machine, but it doesn't work on either. It starts up and remains frozen on the title screen.
Is this purely temporary, or does the widget require a fax? It's loss is a pity as it's a lovely and very useful widget.

Widget Problems
MarkAs of 31 Dec 07, the Meteosat image feed has changed and this widget no longer works correctly. I will endeavour to update the widget ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience.

MarkThe Meteosat website has changed the way they serve up images. I will have to update the widget to fix this, expect a fix within the next week (maybe two, I'm busy at the mo :( )
