The first version only displays images for area D2 (Europe and North Africa), you can select the wavelength of the images and colourized or black and white versions. Optionally you can overlay a second image on top of the main image to produce a combined animation.
Version 1.3 adds sector D2 images for Fog/low cloud (night time use only), Dust, Airmass, and multi-sensor precipitation. These can now be overlaid with the original image set.

November 06, 2006 · version 1.0 Mark (author)Thanks for the comments everyone. I have version 1.1 ready, this includes a minor fix plus a couple of new features that I really like :)
Chrissi - I like 'options' too, take a look at 1.1 when it's available, more options!
As for the Lightning Widget, at the moment I am limited by the source website. Drop the owner a line and ask him to change his maps - you are not the first to ask for this :(
