The first version only displays images for area D2 (Europe and North Africa), you can select the wavelength of the images and colourized or black and white versions. Optionally you can overlay a second image on top of the main image to produce a combined animation.

Version 1.3 adds sector D2 images for Fog/low cloud (night time use only), Dust, Airmass, and multi-sensor precipitation. These can now be overlaid with the original image set.

The Widget performs a weekly check on the Yahoo! Widget… Gallery for updated versions, though you can turn this off.

The Widget supports English, French, and German language.
