microPlayer

microPlayer is a compact and tiny audio player intended to keep the Widget small and save valuable desktop space. It can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, playlist files, or CD audio tracks.

You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX). Tested on Windows XP Pro / Windows Media Player 9..

Super app!
Please get drag and drop functionality in it for files and folders... That would be really handy.

only a small space to scan randomly all my mp3 files... that's great !
Complete functions and easy to compact.
The only thing I don't like is to find the loop and shuffle options so far after 2 deployements of the bar.

Good Job, its a very nice player.
- One feedback is to have the ability to fastforward or backward a song, or to be able to drag the playback progress indicator any where within the song played and play the song from that instance you leave the indicator at.

Very good idea but you forgot to mention it uses a shed load of cpu power about 80% when playing an MP3
